I'm going to slap you across the face with some facts that may shock you.

Information you would know if the USDA and the massive corporations that control this organization weren't running the show.

Here's the first factoid:

Animal fats are actually good for you!

There I said it...now let me back up this statement up with some cold hard facts.

The membrane of every single cell in your body is made up of saturated fat and cholesterol. Remove these two substances, and you'd die in a matter of seconds.

Cholesterol provides the raw materials for your body to create all the male sex hormones, including Testosterone.

Cholesterol is found inside the arteries, because the body uses it as a repair substance. Blaming it for heart disease is like blaming a band aid for the cut on your finger.

In the government sponsored Framingham heart study, the researchers found no link between diet and cholesterol levels in the blood.

Dr. William Castelli, once the acting director of the Framingham study made this shocking admission...

"The more saturated fat one ate, the more cholesterol one ate, the more calories one ate, the lower the persons serum cholesterol".

A research team out of New York University performed autopsies on people who died prematurely from accidental death. They found zero relationship between cholesterol levels in the blood and blockage of the arteries.

In Switzerland, saturated fat consumption has increased since World War II. During this time heart attacks rates have gone down among the Swiss.

The Maasai, a pastoral people in Africa live almost entirely on full fat raw milk, blood, and meat. The adult males consume up to 1/2 pound of butter fat daily, yet heart disease is virtually nonexistent among these people.

Greeks, Italians, and peoples from Spain, France, and Portugal have all increased consumption of animal fats since 1960. During this time, deaths from coronary heart disease have decreased by approximately 20 percent.

The bottom line?

Animal fat consumption is the US has gone down since the early 1900's, while heart disease rates have skyrocketed.
