Anti Estrogen Supplements!

Anti Estrogen Supplements!

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer about a year ago. I had my treatments 9 radiation).

I just checked my hormone panel and found out that my estrogen is high (195).

What is the best natural product that I can use to lower my estrogen level?

Hello Mike

I have to be real careful here because I'm not a doctor, so I can't give medical advice.

What I can do is pass on my experience with anti estrogen supplements.

Take what you read here, and go over it with your doctor before you make any decisions.

Here are the over the counter supplements I use to control estrogen...

Estrogen Blockers!

Chrysin!

Chrysin is an extract from the Passiflora coerulea plant.

It works as an anti-aromatase, which means it prevents the body from turning your testosterone to estrogen.

One study showed that chrysin was as effective as the prescription anti-aromatase drug, Cytadren.

DIM! (diindolylmethane)

DIM converts bad estrogen's into good by processing toxic estrogen's through the liver and excreting them out of the body.

The main ingredient in this substance (indole carbon 3) is extracted from cruciferous vegetables.

This supplement is like broccoli on steroids.

The enzymes in this product enhance your ability to metabolize estrogen's.

Nettle Root!

Nettle root inhibits aromatase, which reduces conversion of testosterone and other androgen's into estrogen's.

Proof of it's ability to control estrogen is demonstrated through it's effect on Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or BPH.

Stinging nettle root is widely used in Europe to treat prostate enlargement.

A well designed double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of nettle was published in the German urological journal Urologe back in 1996.

The subjects in the trial saw maximum urinary flow increase by an average of 66.1% while using the substance.

I've had similar luck with this supplement.

Whenever I have difficulty urinating, one dose of nettle is usually all it takes to get the urine stream flowing again.

I use the same strategy with estrogen blockers as I use with Natural Testosterone Boosters

I cycle them so I don't build up a tolerance.

Typically, I take each for 1 day, then move on to the next.

Using this system, I've been able to keep my estrogen levels in the optimal range, even when
supplementing heavily with testosterone boosters.

Follow the link below to find information on the exact estrogen supplements I use and recommend.
