Statins Side Effects

by Marv
(Atlanta)

I take a Statin to control my cholesterol and do get sluggish and tired, but never put the two together.

My doctor has really put the fear of god into me about my blood lipids, so I'm fearful of going off them.

I would love to hear reports from other men who have gone off statins and haven't dropped dead as a result.

Thanks

Hi Marv

There are reports on this site from men who have decided to go off statin medications due to the negative Side Effects, and the lack of convincing evidence that they will extend life span.

As I've mentioned on my site, low cholesterol is great, but what good does it do you if you're dead anyway.

My opinion is, you'd be better off without them, but it's important that you work with your doctor before you make any decisions.

Many of my site visitors have begun using this Statin Alternative, which you may want to investigate as well.

I make no claims about this product as I haven't used it, but I can say that reports from my site visitors who have, has been very positive.

Good luck to you, and let us know how it goes!
