Statin Side Effects!

Statin Side Effects!

Thank you for spreading the word about these horrific drugs.

I have gone through hell and back with Statins, and I tell anyone who will listen to stay away from them. Here's what happened to me.

I went to my doctor 4 years ago for a checkup. My cholesterol was 210, my weight was a bit high, but everything else checked out OK.

The doctor recommended statins to bring my numbers below 200, and I agreed. He's the expert right?

I started off on lipitor, and I have to admit, it did work to bring my cholesterol down, but it wasn't all a bed of roses.

I went from a vibrant, active, outgoing guy, to a frail, quiet, weak, exhausted old man, in just a matter of months.

I hit rock bottom on a trip from the US to New Zealand. This is a trip my wife and I had been planning for years, and it turned into a disaster.

After 4 days in Auckland, we had plans to pull roots and move on to the South Island of Christchurch. The problem was, I could barely get out of bed.

The entire trip I was tired and lethargic, but on this day, it hit me so hard I couldn't get up.

I ended up sleeping on and off for almost 16 straight hours. We ended up extending our stay in Auckland, and never made it to the South Island.

Stupid me, I continued to take the statins out of fear, and ended up suffering the entire trip.

Once I got home, I told the doctor my story. He brushed it off, and said it definitely was not the statins.

Deep down, I knew it was the drugs because I never had this problem before.

I was determined to get to the bottom of this situation, so I spent hours on the net searching for information on Statin Side Effects.

What I found was that many men suffer the same symptoms of extreme exhaustion, muscle weakness, and lethargy while taking these drugs.

After the research, I finally got up the nerve to fire my doctor, and quit the drugs cold turkey.

It took a few months to get back to 100 percent, but I started to see improvement within just a few days.

Looking back, I'd have to say that dumping statins was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life.
