A fat guys estrogen story

I'm one of those guys who has been fat all his life. Part of the blame falls on my genetics, but I also have to shift some of the blame to my parents. I was fed on a diet of sweet cereal, soda, bagels, bread, candy and other junk foods. I developed good sized boobs by the age of 12, and I also have a very high, feminine sounding voice. Only estrogen could do that to a man.

Right now, I weigh just under 300 pounds, and I am missing out on all the things a normal 30 year old guy experiences. No dates, no girlfriend, and not a lot of fun in my life. I know I'll never have a Brad Pitt Fight Club body, but I am determined to get down in weight from where I am today.

At least now I know I don't need to starve myself or go out and run 15 miles every day. I'm going take your advice and shift the balance in my system so I have more testosterone and less estrogen, lift weights, take supplements, and change my diet.

Thanks for all the helpful information you have provided on this site.

I want to thank you for having the guts to tell your story here!

I can't say that I've ever been in your shoes, but I can say I've been down in the depths, and I know how dark it can be.

You have now taken the first step!

You've educated yourself, and have formulated a plan. There is now light at the end of the tunnel.

Your journey will be much more difficult than most, but the reward will be that much sweeter.

You can do this, as long as you keep your eye on the prize.

Your focus on balancing your estrogen/testosterone ratios is right on, but I would like to add that, due to your weight, insulin is also an important factor.

Your chances of success will be greatly improved, if you keep a lid on your insulin/blood sugar levels.

How do you do that?

Simple...

Limit the junk carbs, and focus on quality fats and proteins.

Add testosterone boosting exercise, and supplements, and you'll get there.

It will take time, and plenty of effort, but in the long run, it will be well worth it.

Keep us in the loop, and remember, we're rooting for you!

Best,
Mark
